The Old Mill Brand Wines & Spirits, Inc. is a small company selling aged, imported rum and several wines imported from Chile. The President of the company is H. Malarkey Wall, an elderly gentleman who has been involved in international trade for over 50 years.
Our rum has been rated 90 points EXCEPTIONAL by the Beverage Testing Institute and is said to be "The best rum in the U. S. sold @ retail under $20.00/BTL."
Why is our rum exceptional?
Answer: Because it is distilled in a five-column still and is probably the cleanest product of its kind on the U. S. rum market!
As pointed out earlier, The Old Mill Brand is a small, botique company.
If our company were a powerhouse in the U. S. liquor business, our Old Mill Gold Rum would definitely be considered a SUPER PREMIUM product.
With regard to our Chilean wines, they are terrific values. All sell retail for under $10.00/BTL.
However, and this is a big "however," our Locomotora & Molino Viejo wines have received quite a few accolades.
Our '09 Molino Viejo chardonnay was awarded 90 points by The Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago. It sold out immediately.
Our 2010 carmenere received DOUBLE GOLD at the San Francisco International Wine Tasting in June of 2012 and it's now gone.
Our '06 Locomotora syrah was given 87 Points (Silver) by B. T. I.
Both our Locomotora Exotic White blends Ý2010 & 2011ß got Silver at B. T. I.
